EN: Ships of the Neopanamax class are those designed to conform to the maximum dimensions allowed for transit through the new locks of the Panama Canal. A Neopanamax ship can measure up to 49 meters width and up to 365 meters length, which makes them almost 120 meters longer than the height of the tallest skyscrapers in Panama. The expansion of the Canal and its new locks opened in June 2016, favor the development of global maritime trade by multiplying opportunities for connectivity and exchange between countries and markets.

Un buque Neopanamax puede medir hasta 49 metros de manga (ancho) y hasta 365 metros de eslora (largo), lo que los hace casi 120 metros más largos que la altura de los rascacielos más altos de Panamá.
