EN: The Congo dance is considered the oldest musical drum genre and dance of the Isthmus of Panama, concentrated mainly in the Province of Colon.
The Queen Congo is the easiest character to distinguish within the group since it has on its head the biggest crown of the dance. She shares the Congo dance with her King, with whom she has two children: El Pajarito and Juan de Diosito. It represents the woman who guided the afro-descendants exiled people in the Isthmus and administered the government and justice in fugitive settlements in the jungle.

La Reina Congo es el personaje más fácil de distinguir dentro del grupo ya que lleva en su cabeza la corona más grande del baile. Comparte el baile Congo junto a su Rey, con el cual tiene dos hijos: el Pajarito y Juan de Diosito. Representa a la mujer que guió a los afrodescendientes exiliados en el Istmo y administró el gobierno y la justicia en los establecimientos de fugitivos en la selva.
